Stone2Well Ministries, through partners like you, restores more than needs, it restores hope and faith, holding families together to make stories like ours possible, opening doors to build lasting legacies.

Reena's Story

One of my greatest dreams has always been to be a loving and devoted mother—and God blessed me

with two beautiful girls. But that dream felt like it was slipping away when addiction began to take

over our home. It was essential to choose peace so my daughters and I moved into temporary housing

while my fiancé and I worked through sobriety agreements. It became clear that he needed more help if

our family was going to survive and have a fighting chance.

That’s when we found Adult & Teen Challenge. Even though we believed in God, the road ahead looked

impossible. I had been a stay-at-home mom because childcare was too expensive, but now I faced

crossroads: continue in a broken cycle, or fight for healing and stability. With God’s help, I chose to fight.

Through a state program I received childcare support and secured a job, but the mountain in

front of us was overwhelming—his program registration fee was a hurdle, and our kids and I needed

on-going food, diapers, rent, transportation and no family nearby to lean on. In that dark season, the

founder of Stone2Well stepped in. Their founder encouraged me, prayed with me; and rallied for donations

for my fiancé’s registration fee, food and supplies for me and my kids and resources were found to keep my

children and I afloat.

Even when I was exhausted and only able to work part-time, I kept going—working during the day and

delivering food at night and on weekends, with my kids by my side. Stone2Well founder connected

me to grief counseling, helped me find a church family, and reminded me that joy and hope were still

possible. Every day I showed up, because I knew with God’s help, showing up meant one step closer

to restoration.

We are still on the journey, but today I am working full-time, my fiancé is in a Christ-centered recovery

program surrounded by mentors, and our family is moving forward together, healing, and building a stable

future. My children are thriving—and I believe God is writing a legacy of faith, resilience, and victory for us.

Because of support like yours, families like mine can hold onto hope when everything feels impossible.

Your generosity doesn’t just provide financial help—it restores homes, heals relationships, and keeps

children with their parents. You are part of the story God is writing in our lives, and I will forever be grateful.
